Fumes produced two seasons of comedy series, Super City created by comedian, Madeleine Sami, Oscar™ nominated director, Taika Waititi (Flight of the Conchords writer/director) and Oscar Kightley (Bro Town, Sione’s Wedding). Madeleine collaborated with prolific playwright Thomas Sainsbury.
Airing Friday 10pm we delivered a 26% audience share to New Zealand broadcaster TV3 in their 18-49 demographic. The series won Best Actress and Best Comedy Script. American Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) ordered a pilot with Aaron Kaplan Executive Producing. A second season aired in New Zealand with comedy heavyweight directing. Both seasons are licensed to Madman Entertainment for NZ and Australia.
